Don't know if any of these got fixed or not, but I recently had 2 laptops have this same condition and what I found by taking the laptops apart is that a little plastic tab that hold the DC jack to the case was broken, allowing the jack to move freely in the computer and the proper fix for it is to purchase a new lower case for the laptop.
