I would like to contradict you James Lev. I was in the peace corps in Mali, West Africa from 1993-1995, and almost 100 percent of oranges and tangerines as well as bananas are sold and consumed with green skin, even though the fruit is perfectly ripe and delicious. So, indeed, in West Africa oranges are not oranges, they are GREENS instead. just food for thought!!! just now by richarddsf
