Took it completely apart again and had left the magsafe cable to the logic board unplugged. If you are going to do this per instructions triple check that you are not allowing any cables that need to be connected to slip under the logic board as you get it positioned back in place.
Macbook Pro Retina Mid-2012 battery replacement. Battery was installed and appeared to be working properly. However computer will not detect the charge cord according to the system report. The lights on the charge cord do not illuminate. I have reset the SMC and PVRAM, double checked connections inside the computer and the computer still will not detect the charger cable. Have tried numerous outlets, this is a known good charger. All systems (audio, trackpad, keyboard, display, wiresless, etc.) on the computer are working properly, but it simply will not charge and the semi charged state the battery was delivered in is almost depleted. Any ideas of what I can try?
