In general I would avoid forcing any of the components mainly due to the complexity of the device along with the delicacy of the components. I would focus on the screws; why can't they be removed? If they are stripped, you may be able to remove them with a knife, filed bit, or the correct bit and a rubber band. It seems unlikely, but the screws could also be held in place by adhesive. You could always try contacting a knowledgeable source on how to remove the screws. Forcing the screen off would be a last-resort move that could do more harm than good, make the repair much more complicated and expensive, and could be complicated in and of itself depending on how well the screws are holding the assembly in place. The black lines on your display are most likely caused by a loose connection on the ribbons. They can be a bit finicky when you put them back in, in my experience usually require several firm pats with the plastic opening tool (of course, exercise caution when doing so.) I believe part of the reason why the metal casing exists is to hold the ribbons in place. If you want to test the device before putting the casing on, I recommend making sure the ribbons are secure and then holding them down with the plastic openener to be sure. I think you are right and that the culprit is the front camera, but you should be able to do a test. Try recording sound from the memo app which only uses your front microphone, if your front microphone is the problem there should little to no blips appearing the sound tracker and when playing it back it will sound weak or muted. You can repeat the test with the video recorder to double check, and to make sure it isn't both microphones. Hope this helps.

Try drying out the water usually by putting it a bowl or bag of dry rice, hopefully that will work and no damage will have been done to your phone. Otherwise things get a bit more complicated, whether you repair it yourself or go to a shop the cost of repair will depend on what has been damaged; pray it isn't the logic board. My advice is if you can turn it on try to assess the damage and make the respective repairs if any, if you can't turn it on, bring it to a certified repairman.

It looks to me like a a piece from the headphone jack. If it is then it shouldn't effect your charging or really much of anything. At any rate it doesn't look like an electronic chip or anything of vital significance. As for your battery check and make sure it is plugged in, 83% of the problems I had when repairing my phone were ribbon related. Otherwise, there may be something damaged on you logic board or battery circuit. Ot's hard to tell. Hope this helps, best of luck repaoring your phone.

Completed the repair. This was my first repair and it took quite a while, but most of it was trouble shooting. My suggestions:

-When prying away the display assembly be careful, it is easy to pry it apart and possible to damage your phones clips

-When plugging the display ribbons in check, check, double check, and triple check that they are completely plugged in. This amounts to about 87% of the problems I see in the comments including: display anomalies (white bars, dots, et veteran), blank displays, and the touch screen not working.

- If you here a repetitive sound (e.g. The "low battery" sound or the sound it makes when you plug it in) unplug the battery and plug it back in; this seemed to work with me.

-Be very careful when screwing the pentalobe screws back in, as you can easily strip the screw or the flutes of the screw head

-Again be very careful replacing the display assembly. Start at the top and move down equally to bottom. It is really easy to damage the clips
