Hi Mackenzie, Sorry about your laptop. I believe any repair from Apple or 3rd party repair services will be costly with parts and labor. It really depends on your budget. Your Macbook Air 13" Early 2014 screen and case replacement can start from $330ish and up. Granted that everything else is working fine and it boots up normally (apart from the monitor), I would just recommend buying a LED or LCD monitor with proper adaptor & cable and plug the macbook air into it. I hope this helps. :) revision by mayer MacBook Air 13" Early 2014 Display Assembly Replacement Here’s the part, you might be able to find a lessor grade on eBay MacBook Air 13" (Mid 2013-2017) Display Assembly

I recently changed my iPhone 5s battery and I'm getting only 11.5 hours in strictly standby mode (not using the phone at all). After installing the new battery, I made sure it was calibrated properly by letting it drain to 0% and then did an uninterrupted full charge afterwards. Not sure how long the standby mode of newly installed ifixit battery should be but I'm guessing it has to be more than 11.5 hours on purely standby mode starting from 100% charge amount. Update (02/24/2016): Hi James, I believe my issue has been resolved. After installing the new battery from ifixit, my battery was draining very fast because I was using a 3rd party iPhone charger. After letting my battery drain to 0% completely, I decided to plug in an authentic Apple iPhone charger into my 5s. Lo and behold, the excessive draining is not there anymore! I'm averaging about 10% decrease for every 2 hours of standby mode. So I'm roughly getting close...
