How do you remove the house that the pin goes into? Mine has corrosion on the pin and inside that housing.
The driver's side is harder as you have to remove stuff to get to the bulb. And depending on the year it could be a push pin or bolt that holds the stuff in place.
To be fair, most people don’t know that there are different generations of the Nest Thermostat and clearly they didn’t read that this was for the 2nd generation Nest Thermostat. Probably should have been pointed out in the instructions more clearly for those folks. Then they wouldn’t have been so confused about the battery voltage differences.
My old 3G iPad 1st generation won’t turn on because it needs a new battery. Trying to decide if it’s worth spending the money to replace the battery myself. Guess it could still be used to watch movies on Netflix via wifi and view pics.
I ignored steps 9 - 12 and just held the screen at the 90 degree position, to save time. Removing the old battery was a bit difficult, as it didn't want to unstick. Also had a little trouble getting the new battery connector to lock in place. But even with those two minor issues, I still finished the job in around 5 minutes.
