I don't think so. Easiest way to check is jack up the rear and try to spin the tires to see what side is hanging up. I'm pretty sure the only way to loosen it is take the hub back off.
Read moreThese are always lawnmower repair shops in every area. Just do a google search of lawnmower repair shops in your city. Most places would just swap a new motor rather then rebuilding it. They can also check it to see if a motor is actually what u need and not just a tune up and oil change. When oil isn't changed it gets thin and makes the motor smoke. Hopefully new oil and filter is all u need good luck.
Read moreActually the first answer was right. The shift solenoids on Honda transmissions are on the outside. But if the car does not want to shift first thing is the check the fluid color, odor, and level. If it's black or brown and smells burnt that's not good and it could possibly be something internal screwing up the solenoid. The cheapest easiest way to fix the solenoid would be a junk yard. A Trans shop will charge you a lot and usually will want to change the whole tranny and not just 1 part.
Read moreI'm assuming it's a standard stock style alternator in your car. Back in the 60's and 70's cars didn't have a ton of electronics so they didn't need very powerful charging systems. If all your cables are good and you have a decent battery almost every older car made you can buy a high amp alternator that should fit in the factory brackets. A lot depends on how much stero system your running. If you have amps and subwofers you should run a good battery like a optima gel cell and a high amp alt. If it's just a aftermarket stereo with 4-8 speakers and no amps usually u can just use a good battery as long as your alternator is actually charging like it should be. 1 last thing you can do is buy an aftermarket pulley or pulley set. That basically works by making your alt spin faster and making it charge more.
Read moreI need to know a little more. After you ran out of gas did u change the plugs and fuel filter before you put gas in it and started it? When the check eng light is flashing that means the comp keeps sending the code to the comp because it sees something really wrong. It sounds like a misfire. Did u put the right plugs in the car? Did you gap them to the right specs? It could poss be a clogged injector from sucking crap from the bottom of your tank but that's rare. If u get it scanned that can at least tell you where to start.

Read moreIf the check eng light is on and you can't see codes it prob transmission codes. If it's slipping it is not electrical it is internal. Check and make sure the fluid is full and also check the color and smell. It's supposed to be pink and clean. If it's black or brown and smells bad like its burnt then your going to need a new Trans or a rebuild soon.
Read moreI've delt with this a few times. First try a soft reset. Take the battery out and hold the power button down for 1 minute with the battery out. Put the battery back in and try to power it on. If that doesn't work try hooking it up to your computer with a USB cord and see if your comp can see the phone and turns it on. Last if those 2 fail you can try to start it in safe mode. Turn off the phone completely. Press and hold the Power key and the Volume Down key. When the phone starts to boot, release the Power key but continue holding the Vol Down key until the phone finished restarting. Safe mode will be displayed at the lower left corner; you may release the Volume Down key now. If safe mode doesn't work the last thing you can try is recovery mode. This procedure will attempt to boot the phone up to its barebones. It means that the device will be booted up without loading the usual Android GUI. Read moreThese trucks have an injector pump that's driven off the main timing gear. It's in the front of the engine in the valley. So if you heard noise coming from under the hood or front before it stopped running and you have no fuel pressure now while cranking it sounds like your injector pump took a crap. What u can do to verify lack of fuel is get a small rag and wet it with gasoline not diesel and hold it infront of the throttle body. My buddy has a twin turbo duramax and I've helped him pull the motor a few times and he's showed me a few little tips n tricks. A few drops of gas should start it up. U also can check the fuel rail for pressure with a gauge but if u don't have 1 on hand the gas rag can confirm no fuel.
