i just finished replacing the LCD screen for my note 20 ultra (it cracked from the top of the up volume key to the hole on the top frame almost precisely from a very minor drop only 3 weeks into owning it) and i cant help but feel that this was one of the easiest screen replacements i’ve ever had to to do. ok, the rear glass is a pain to remove and you need to exercise patience however, once inside after removing a bunch of screws that, beside three near the charging port are identical, every phone component inside popped out beautifully and they were substantial in nature making it easy to remember where they came from, what order they came out in and pretty hard to misplace / lose. for the battery i just laid the phone, broken screen down on at 90 deg C heat mat for a couple of mins and the battery came off with relative ease. yeah, one of the easiest almost foolproof screen replacements i’ve ever done. i have to add that a heat pad made a big difference in controlling how much heat was applied.
