Read moreDepending on the year , Model, brand. Some older timers are located on Top over Top in top or top back of refrig, some side by sides are located behind bottom front grill. . Try tapping it with a rubber screwdriver handle. It may not be advancing forward to turnbit on and off. It works much like a clock gear. You might also try putting a small flat screwdriver in the plastic round shaft to advance it til it clicks and comes on. If it does come on timer needs replacing most likely.

Is a clicking noise coming from it ? If no most likely it's the timer. If it has moisture sensing then Google your model for location of it and clean the metal contact with wool lightly and vacuum lint holes on inside of drum.

Read moreIs the dyer getting plenty warm inside? If yes next Make sure dryer hose is not kinked .keep lint cleaned off and out of dryer, especially the back. Lint is a fire hazard. Does your outside dryer exhaust vent have a hood on it to prevent rain from getting inside it? If not it may be blocked partially or completely with water. It's also suppose to have flaps to allow air out and yet let nothing in . Lint can accumulate on it. Keep it cleaned off so they can work properly. If the vent hose leading up to the vent outside has and curves or turns in it lint or water ( if rain gets into it) will accumulate and make clothes take longer to dry or not at all. I'd recommend a wet dry shop vac with adequately long enough hose to run down the dryer exhaust line and vaccum out. Some people run the dryer exhaust hose thru the floor or wall and exhaust under the house or on an attic. I would not recommend this. Dryer exhaust contains lint ( fire hazard) and moisture ( breeding ground for mold , mildew, and rot.) It needs...

Read more1st make sure connections on solenoid are secure and no broken connections. Next While someone simultaneously trys to start, tap gently with a small rubber hammer on solenoid . If it cranks over solenoid is bad. Next make sure cable from positive side of battery to solenoid isnt broken or disconnected. Next make sure starter gear is not stuck in flywheel. With sparkplug wire disconnected and positive battery cable also disconnected. Try to turn flywheel manually clockwise with both hands. If stuck rock flywheel back n forth to free. ( make sure deck is up, pto off, trans is in neutral) if this freed up flywheel starter gear is worn and needs replacing. Lastly are you trying to crank over with choke already engaged if so disengage and try again. With choke on motor is harder to turn over.
Read moreGENERALASTION FOR MOST MODELS AND BRANDS OF WASHERS. NOT MODEL OR BRAND SEPECIFIC! f your washer drains all the water out before it starts to spin then when its time for it to spin the water out of the clothes and it spins but still leaves the clothes heavy with water and dripping Then the belt maybe worn/stretched and not adequately getting all the water out of the clothes due to slipping. The heavier the load the less effective a worn belt or motor is. In some cases it may not spin at all or irractically. Worst case scenario the motors wore out and result is the same. Heavy or dripping with water clothes. With power cord unplugged remove belt. Use caution when working on machine there are lots of sharp edges and hardware. If the belt comes off very easily most likely the belt is your problem . or if belts inside edge is glossy, cracked, frayed, or looks burnt looking. Then try a new belt. ( important you use exact replacement belt. Do not improvise. To tight a belt will burn up motor to loose and it...
