Might just be the Touch ID flex cable right? 6s has one on the rear shield panel on the LCD. It gets ripped pretty easily. They are like 1$ online.

Hi Carson, I believe that the best way to find out is just to simply take it to a repair shop and tell them about what happened and they will have a look at it and tell you if it is repairable. If it still charges it's a good sign that it can possibly be repaired without loosing any data that is stored on your device. Daniel.

Hi, I believe that there could be 2 main reasons why your phone's screen is black: 1.After the drop your LCD connector disconnected. 2.Your LCD broke from the impact. In any of these cases you would have to remove the screen and check the connector, if that's not the case you will need to replace the display.

You shouldn't be worried like Stephen said the coconut is only trapped in one of the LCD layers and replacing the LCD would fix the problem.

Hi Ash Have you tried taking it to the Apple store? They may replace it for you for free . If that wont work try to replace the battery or the dock connector.
