Has anybody found and installed a Note FE battery in a Note 7? If so, did the FE battery fit into the N7 battery compartment without any issues? And where did you find an FE battery?
BTW, for naysayers, I have used my N7 daily since September 2016. When the Note 8 came out, I bought one and hated it. I gave the N8 to my wife and kept using my N7. The N7 and Note 4 were the two greatest Android phones produced so far. Both of mine are still in service. If you never used either, you would not understand.
Jeff Suovanen — Thank you for your ‘chicken little’ comment. Your concern was appreciated EVEN IF misguided. It is totally safe to mess with the N7’s battery IF you have the skills to correctly disassemble the N7.
Miguel Eduardo — The S7 battery works as a replacement (if you know how to remove the N7 battery’s connector parts and solder them onto the S7 battery. The S8+ and Note 8 batteries may work. But I am trying to find a Note FE battery to try … but can’t locate one.

It is very possible to replace the Note 7 battery with another Samsung battery… if you have the skills to modify the non-N7 battery. But I am hoping the Note FE battery presents the easiest solution. Just can’t find one to work with.
JJ Davis Reply is totally lame. It wasn’t hard to dodge the Poison Pill Update that prevented the Note 7 from charging. I did. And my N7 is still my daily driver in Dec 2019 … however, it is time for a new battery … and my hope is the Note FE battery is the replacement … which I am trying to discover.
