According to www.mobilefun.co.uk (link to article here), "Multipoint is a (relatively) new development in Bluetooth technology that allows your Bluetooth Headset to be connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time". It allows for a headset to connect to multiple phones and, if a call comes in on one phone, automatically connect to the phone that is being called, allowing you to be able to use your headset to call the person, truly hands-free. The article/blog also comes with info and links to multipoint-compatible headsets, but these come from 2008 and prior. Here is a link with more info about multipoint bluetooth, as well as more recent headsets that support it. Multipoint Bluetooth - Phiaton Hope this helps!

Read moreYou need go to the home screen first, if you aren't already there. Then, you go to Settings, then General, and then About. There it should list a bunch of information, including number of songs, photos, apps, and other stuff. Scroll down and you should find what version your device is running. And in case you might not have known, if you want to update your device, just go to Settings, then general, then Software Update. If you have the latest iOS release on your device, It will say you are up to date. I hope this helped you!
Read moreHere's a link to a logic board on ebay for $50 you can purchase, which has been taken out of a 5th gen. iPod. The logic board in the link is the only model that's compatible with your iPod (model A1136), the model number being 820-1975-A. Something you should watch out for. There are also two variants of the same model (both having the same model number), the one in the link being the 32MB RAM variant, and the other one being the 64MB variant. There is also a logic board of the same model that is from a 5th gen. enhanced, or 5.5th gen., iPod which has a higher audio quality because of the Wolfson DAC sound chip built-in to the logic board. According to the description of the logic board in the link listed ahead, it is a lot rarer than normal logic boards of the same model because of this reason. The link on ebay is here. It costs $42 and has 32MB of RAM. I have a link to an ebay search with the exact model (logic board), and with item location set to worldwide: 820-1975-A. If you want the 64MB variant,...
Read moreI have tried to look on amazon, ebay, and just the whole web, but I couldn't find internal parts like the one you listed. Or maybe I haven't looked close enough... I've found a phone of the exact model that's being sold for parts on ebay, though. It's actually a whole working phone, but the only problem is that it has problems with activation, which I'm assuming refers to cellular plan. It's selling for $20 and free economy shipping (at least for where I live) and can be found here. No matter how much I try, though, I can never find a guide for taking it apart. Hope this helps! Edit - this item is now out of stock. There is a new one for $66 dollars, but it is the exact same one as the one that @osa1011 has in his answer. Unless you already bought the $20 phone.
Read moreThe screen may be the problem. Either the screen is not plugged in properly, or that the ribbon cable is not working as it should. Either way, the lcd screen is not recieving video data as it is supposed to. Try asking professionals in your area to help you. The best solution might be to replace the screen or try plugging it back in correctly. A professional may be able to help you better than I can. Good luck getting it fixed!
Read moreFrom what I can tell, the hard drive is broken. If you can, replace it with a 30 or 60 GB 1.8" ZIF hard drive (80 GB may or may not work, depending on if you have a logic board with 32 or 64 MB of RAM. To be safe, we're staying away from the 80 GB drive), the only problem being that you would have to re-install the firmware for your iPod, which might probably be difficult for you (depends). You can find out how to take your iPod apart here. Once you replace the drive, here is a video that will show you how to reinstall the firmware. Here's a link that may also help: How do I reinstall firmware on my iPod 5th Generation Video classic? Here is a link to download all (I think) of the iPod firmware versions. Good Luck!
Read moreAssuming your laptop has a hard drive, that may be your problem. Hard drives are vulnerable to drops and such because they are basically spinning magnetic discs. If you drop them, there's the risk of breaking or damaging the discs. When your son threw your computer on the ground, he may have damaged the hard drive. Probably the best way to test that would be to remove the bottom panel and remove the hard drive from the laptop, and if you have a hard drive enclosure with a usb connector (or however you call it) or one of these, insert the drive into it and plug it in to another computer. But you probably don't have neither the resources, nor the knowledge, to do that. But if you do, this may be of some help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7r2JPW3f... But probably the best thing to do is to maybe specify what is wrong with it and add more details about it, and then it will be easier to troubleshoot and find the problem. Or find a professional. I recommend Microcenter if you are close to one of their locations.
