I bought a Macbook Air 2014 and it didn’t come with an ssd. I ordered an OWC Aura pro x2 ssd and installed it. The Mac had El Capitan installed previously (I saw it on the Ebay listing). The new ssd would not appear in the disk utility menu. In the end I have a Macbook Air that I can’t get an operating software on. Any ideas?

This guide sucks. It tells you to use the wrong size bit on step 5 which stripped the screw needed. Now I cant get it out. Very frustrating. Ifixit screwed me over on this one.
