yes you can replace the FAN - take apart remove 2 screws - unplug for pc board. insert new replacement fan and reverse the take apart. never easy but yes you can replace the Fan.

usually there is a blown fuse, that should be replaced…

I have several clients that have the same printer… usual fix is totally delete the printer. remove the USB cable, reboot and then see if the printer still shows. if yes again do a uninstall and remove from device & Printers. so that when you reboot you have NO PRINTER… then shut off computer, plug in printer cable. start computer and follow any instructions. it should AUTO start to install Printer.

ASRock - check your bios and make sure it is up to date. reinstall the original AllNone Drivers. reboot and see if that helps. Event viewer will help but (1) last locate your Windows\minidump - compress it, and attach here so we can read and see what it tells us on you BSOD. (2) most common is drivers. (several programs are FREE and work well- IOBits DriveBooster is one, yes you get pestered with buy me. but FREE works very well. 3. system being fragmented, causes lag, delays and often BSOD. most all windows has a auto defrag program but you can do it your self…. logo + R - -> type dfrgui —> enter and defrag you system… might take a while but worth the time. 4. Game might have compatible issues (windows is famous for that) use shortcut to find the actual exe for you game. right clik - locate troubleshoot compatibility. and see if that will help you fix. I have one game I have to run in Window 8 compatility mode….

If you removed D: then open disk manager, and locate the now gone partition (depends how you removed D: you can expand C: to include the old D: Partition. or reformat D: and add the drive letter back.

After replacing the Memory with a NEW Non Samsung Chip. Computer started with NO problems, I also got a new clean install.... Never had another Problem.... never froze, works perfect.... so nice my neighbor bought it for his GrandDaughter, who uses it every day and Seen GrandDad this AM.... says the little Acer is so nice he also bought his Wife a New Acer for Christmas because the A0751 worked so nice. ------------------------ Reference to the battery problem... by ehustus . M$ has admitted that they had a BAD and have offered a Battery Fix which reportedly has cured over 95% of all Battery Problems with all systems...

DUH DUH this is also with 1 Unit sent back 3x to Temple. and reported a 100% PERFECT. yet customer had (sudden FREEZE problems)_FREE MEMTEST will also tell you if you have dual core or single core. or...

See if you place a small board about 2" high and 2" wide across the back (battery) see if that helps... you also might remove the plastic cover from the MEMORY chips.. see if that helps. My memory cover had a piece of plastic glued over it... no air movement, removed the plastic, and with the board NO MORE SHUTDOWN due to HEAT.

1st if his system would not accept the x64 it will not BOOT, so his system can be either x64 or x32. The resolution is caused by the lack of proper driver for his Video... it also can be because his does not have enough memory to allow the ability to change resolution. lots more info needed to give 100% assistance.

I do hope you read your manual, since Acer Notebooks have a RECOVERY Partition, they also have the ability to make your RECOVERY DISKs if you have a DVD-RW or CD-RW drive. & installing Windows 7 has nothing to do with the REQUEST. He simply wants to RESTORE his system. Honestly he should read the manual which came with the Laptop or at least DL the PDF for his system from Acer.... Basic Manuals are FREE and PDF. Update: Acer has 2 different methods of Recovery. 1. Make a Disk (works great) 2. make sure you set D2D in the BIOS, then SET F12 in the bios, then when you BOOT you can HOTKEY to have Acer ERecovery auto restore back to Factory Default... both methods has worked 100% for me. & also on other OEM Systems... all you need to do is READ THE MANUAL on Factory Restore Options. Over 27 yrs with Computer Repair.
