BE CAREFUL… don’t ‘snap’ the bottom screen edge, just prior to final screw insertion/completion.
I got all the way through the battery replacement process, and I cracked the glass directly under the Home button. I cracked it since I thought I could just ‘pinch/snap’ the bottom edge into the position. Next time, I will be certain that the top edge in more closely seated/closed toward the top, before I more gently close the sides, then move-on bottom edge. I applied too much pressure to the bottom edge on either-side of the Home button. The top edge was not ‘north’ enough, and not-seated correctly before I should have gently closed the edges, before more gently closing the bottom edge correctly. I wish the video may have communicated this subtle detail. I’ve got to buy a new screen next.
ADVICE: ‘Easy does it’ on the final screen closure just before final screw re-insertion/completion.
