Sounds similar to my issue. Have you checked inside the pump to make sure there's nothing stuck in there? Also are you aware that if you hold down two control panel buttons at the same time you can operate the pump manually? Like mine if it's worked ok for 5 years then it can't be the drain hose height issue. But the only thing I really did with mine was remove the olive pip from the pump and modify the drain. I'm still not 100% sure what the actual issue was but it's worked flawlessly ever since. Good luck.
Well, I have an admission or two to make. I've had the dishwasher outside for dismantling and installing a new drain pump and/or running through its cycles, and I noticed by chance that if the drain hose was at a certain height, the washer ran through a full cycle OK. I've also had an extension on the drain hose of about 750mm for 5 years without apparent problem. When I originally pulled the drain pump out, there was an olive pip inside. But with the olive pip removed, even with a new pump installed, I had continuing drain issues, probably because of the drain hose location and height. So I reinstalled the original pump, and with drain hose at the correct height, ran through several cycles without a glitch. Over the last few years there has been several OE drain issues, that I now think could be related to the fact that when...
