Before attempting to disassemble the TS101, strongly consider not doing it.
The sole circuit board in the iron is soldered directly to the display's integral ribbon cable, and the display is glued into place, meaning that it's effectively impossible to disassemble to a reasonable degree without invasive methods and damage is a strong possibility.
Definitely read through these instructions before starting.
If you decide to clean the wireless coil assembly, be aware that IPA will completely remove the printed 2-D barcode on the lower right. (Hopefully that's not important.)
I used 99% isopropanol (not the normal 70% that's available at a pharmacy; try a hardware store) to soften the remaining glue and had basically no problems at all. Just slow prying and it took less than a minute. I've used 99% IPA before and found that it works significantly better than 70% IPA for de-sticking glues. But it's also possible that I got lucky.
If you had the idea to just put some tape over the contacts for buttons you want to disable, don't bother. The buttons are not typical conductive rubber keypads; they actually depress physical dome switches, and that membrane is glued to the PCB. It appears that defeating the switches requires permanent modification, either to the rubber keypad or to the switch itself.
