Fairly easy repair just get a replacement battery something like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/116324788123?... Then follow a battery guide like this, watch it in slow speed . Do the steps in reverse to fit a new battery. Use double sided tape or universal glue to hold the new battery in place if it doesn’t come with adhesive pre-attached. https://youtu.be/OxmT5pbKEqU?si=4ldxZMqy... There are probably other videos showing the same repair this was first hit.
Read moreIf you tried different batteries with same issues it’s pointing towards a charge port issue. Check your cable is good or a different cable. Then check it’s inserting properly and the port isn’t wobbly . Shine a light in the port to check for debris or lint build up. Next thing is to open up the phone and check the ribbon flex cable is seated properly that connects to the charging daughter board / main motherboard at both ends . That’s the big flex cable, it’s possible it’s become disconnected. Also try headphone socket to see if that is working (if you can boot it) If none of that works you may need a new charging daughter board . Or replacement flex cable. Edit: My hunch is the flex has popped out the socket, leaving the phone powerless. It should just pop back in if your lucky. 🤞 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nFo1A4aNUy... Here’s a daughter board replacement part link. Do not order one unless all the above doesn’t work or the ribbon cable doesn’t look damaged....

Read moreYou need a new battery. The battery could be the same battery and they just changed the percentage data. Or they purchased a dead battery as new stock unwittingly. There are fakes out there also. The odds of it being a hardware issue are low compared to the odds of having a dead battery especially in an iPhone six as they are getting on in age good parts are harder to find. I would try another battery replacement .

Why replace display without disconnecting the battery? Is there a reason for this?
Hi, is there a reason the battery isn’t being disconnected in this repair?
You are both correct. Testing the screen before putting on adhesive means the screen can be returned if faulty. Many places will not accept a screen return that has adhesive on it.
So if it works apply adhesive at this point. When testing don’t just rely on Apple logo test touch functionality also .
