Hi Sydney, Generally when using a laptop, you would want to avoid the bottom of the laptop from touching any material like a blanket or like your lap or anything that would stop air from going through the fans. The ventilation could be blocked, which is bad, the air circulation is very important for cooling the internal hardware. The laptop sucks fresh cool air and the hot air blows out. If there is a soft cushion (bed) or other material (not including rigid material) it blocks the vents which results in high temperature of the hardware of the laptop, this can make the computer 60 degree celsius and higher. Higher temperatures can damage the internal hardware and decrease its battery life permanently, so try not to over work it :)
Read moreHi Amsi, Firstly don’t take out the cartridge or try to, this could expose the film, which isn’t what you want to do, otherwise it will kinda like activate the film. But that might be the only way out, and you most likely have tried to do that. The Film roller may have malfunctioned, there is a mechanical roller in the camera which is used to eject film from the camera. You could always try to slowly pull the black film cover from the slot. I am not entirely sure on how to help you, but if it is new, then get a refund. I’m am not sure what condition your camera is in (battery wise) but you may need a new battery? Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Troubleshooting If you do want to just open the camera and pull the cartridge out, do it in a very dark place so that the film won’t get exposure and so that it can be usable. Hope this was use-full, and I wish you luck!!
Read moreHi Popescu,: The black plastic you were talking about is very delicate, and same thing happened to me, I removed my T key when I was cleaning it and the black plastic broke off, and when I removed the T key there were little hooks that I didn’t realise and those broke, so when I tried to put it back on, it wouldn’t click. And yes my T key is brighter than the rest now unfortunately. Also as you said before how you put the keys back on and they wouldn’t click could be because the hooks most likely have been damaged. So for me when the T key didn’t click in and was loose, I went onto ebay and bought a new T Key and that did the trick, but the T is still brighter than the rest. "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kh88cn_r..." this is a useful link on how to clean and remove the butterfly mechanism.
