Here is a video of someone replacing the rubber gasket, without doing an entire LCD removal: Change Screen Rubber Mac Book Pro Retina, Frame Ring screen, Rubber - YouTube So it is doable, but if anyone has successfully completed this process and has any tips or tricks that would be greatly appreciated. Also does anybody know what tool is being used in the video to push the rubber gasket into place along the edges of the screen?
Has anyone found a way to do this? Here is a video of someone replacing the rubber gasket without removing the LCD panel, but I would like additional information/instructions if someone has successfully completed this process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0C_3IAG...
