have seen a market stall somehow reprogramme the 8gb version into 32gb version, apparently they have to check the chip that is installed and some are 32gb/64gb versions which failed quality control and can be reprogrammed into their original specs but with the chances that one or two things fail or corrupt!
Read morestick it in the oven, cant remember the temp think its about 280 C or somewhere close, it should be left for just long enough to melt the glue that holds them together but not long enough to melt the plastic, oh one tip, you may need to take the silver backing off, be very very careful with all steps, and dont forget its hot! you should then be able to slip in a very slim tool between lcd and digitiser, get any glue off the lcd while its hot as it will be almost impossible otherwise! but for what you are saving in money it is alot of hassle!

Read morethe top left is because you didnt tuck in the black wire, this should fold in on itself when you put the screen back, not over hang into the screen area, the bottom right is usually the screen shield being put back in place slightly wrong take it out and make sure that the 2 hooks are correctly seated on the right hand side, what ever you do dont put any pressure on the top one or you will crack the lcd ruin it!
Read morethis is a common problem, look for a program called recboot stick the ipod into recovery mode and wait a min, then connect to itunes, then quit itunes again, run recboot again and kick it out of recovery mode this should sort it out, if not then it is possibly a fault caused by static which can sometimes resolve by running the battery completely flat and leaving alone for a day or so then put a little charge in it again!
