Indeed this step is a major FAIL with regards to the black model that has no screws to uncover the battery chamber. It’s frankly, quite unthinkable, how the battery was placed with all said adhesive with it, to begin with, in such setting. It is however, just a fact that the inability to access the exposed battery directly, leaves the fixer at an impasse. Now it’s up to heating techniques and meddling, with very sloppy lines of action - if any.

It is worth noticing that spare parts sellers can sell you both frame and screen panel already put together as in one part to save you the trouble of disassembling the frame. In my case, I paid for both of them and actually skipped this step as well as the following one, thus replacing the screen panel with the frame was a matter of just reconnecting it as a whole.

As with all other ribbon type connections, this one is no different - the white flaps secure the cable in their connectors so gently lift the flaps, it should be super easy.

Take a brief moment to really understand the positioning of the speakers because not both of them sit in the same manner.

It could be useful to kindda start removing them and half way into it, sit them back the way they were just to get the good feel and confidence you would be able to get them back the way they should be in, once completely taken out.

General tip regarding heating necessary to remove adhesive:

consider using a heated tip of a small screwdriver or metal spudger (not the one made of plastic, provided in kit), rather than to heat the device itself.
