This is quite difficult to answer without more information in regards to what's not working specifically. Although there are three probable causes: (1) The display drivers in the device are corrupt and need a reinstall. Considering it's a Chromebook, I'd rather just go with reinstalling the entire machine. (2) The HDMI port is damaged. If this is the case it can be replaced, but might not be worth it. (3) A motherboard issue. In this case, you're better off to just buy a new computer if this is a major issue for you. If the issue lies within the motherboard, it would require microsoldering knowledge and a lot of work to fix, and would definitely cost more than purchasing a new computer. Have you tried using another cable or/and monitor? The problem might not necessarily lie within the computer.
Read moreIt sounds like either your replacement screen is faulty or that something wasn't done correctly during the replacement procedure. There could be many reasons for a device to bootloop, however, since this occured upon a screen change, it's most likely hardware related. It's mostly about power when we're talking about hardware-related bootlooping, and the phone not being able to draw the correct amount of current from the battery for it to function normally. These could be some of the causes of this issue: (1) Something was incorrectly done during the repair, such as not properly connecting a cable. (2) Something was damaged during the repair, such as unintentionally stabbing a component on the motherboard. (3) The replacement screen is faulty. I don't know where you bought the replacement screen from, but as long as it's not a cheap knockoff, it shouldn't be the issue on the first hand. Here's a link to a replacement screen from iFixit. Read moreThere could be several reasons why this occurs: (1) The flexcable between the actual button and the motherboard has been damaged during the repair, or is not properly connected. (2) The homebutton has a backplate to ensure it clicks properly, and also registers the clicks. If this isn't properly mounted, or completely missing, it could very well be a reason. You can easily tell if that's the case if you click on the button and you feel like there's nothing these and the button just "sinking in". (3) The homebutton itself is damaged and needs to be replaced. Those above would be the most common issues as far as I'm concerned, however it's not guaranteed that it's one of them. Troubleshooting (1) Examine the flexcable carefully and search for any potential damage. If you can confirm, for example, a crack, that's most likely the issue. Read moreHm, this is a very strange problem. First of all you should make sure that the replacement screen is for your phone and not anything else than an iPhone 6. If that’s the case, it won’t be compatible. However if you have an iPhone 6 replacement display, you should make sure that it is one of high quality. Low quality replacement displays are often likely to break in a short time or give you trouble when repairing. But if you have a high quality replacement display (such as a one from iFixit) there should be no trouble. You must have damaged the connectors on the cables somehow (bent pins or similar) resulting in them not connecting even if it is the original screen or not. The last solution might be that the replacement display got damaged when it was made in the factory. If that’s the case you should contact your seller.

If that’s the case, you should probably ask Apple for help… However, if you are 100% sure that the battery isn’t the problem, there might be some issue with the logicboard. That’s possible to replace, yes but hard. And you would probably lose touch ID features as each individual home button is paired to the logicboard to the phone. And with the fact that this isn’t a physical button and just a sensor, you won’t even get the ability to click your home button unless you go through Apple which will re-pair a new one for around 379$… These issues are always hard to fix, as I usually tell most people to restore the whole phone, but it seems like that isn’t an option here… I don’t like to say it, but I’m afraid that Apple is the only way here if no genius here might have a great solution. But if a wipe and a restore is possible, I highly recommend you to hook it up to iTunes and restore the phone.
Read moreDid all this happend after a system update? If so, something is most likely wrong with the drivers - backup your data and restore the phone. However if that’s not the case, the earpiece speaker might be the problem. But before we dig deeper into that, here are some stuff you should try out: (1) Front facing camera (2) Ambient light sensor (just hover your finger over the top of the phone and your display should turn darker. If these are working fine, something is most likely wrong with the earpiece speaker. Try to replace it. However if the front facing camera and ambient light sensor didn’t work, it could be about a ribbon cable and if that’s the case, try to replace that.
Read moreTry to somehow reinstall the whole OS that your phone might be running (which means the right version of Android and for the correct device). If system files are missing, the phone will behave in a strange way. This isn’t something that could be done easily, so I recommend just going to a repair shop which will most likely do that hard work for you. If they say it isn’t possible, or will require hard work and be very expensive, just buy yourself a new phone. And remember to never touch the system files! If they are changed, the phone or even any OS won’t work properly!
Read moreThe only problem that I can think of is the ribbon cables. Something to always keep in mind during repairs is that ribbon cables are extremely fragile and can be damaged even if a tiny plastic piece just scratches against it a bit too hard. My guess is that sometime during the repair, the cable was damaged and therefore the button is no longer working. You could always try to replace that. I’m not a god with these consoles, but I don’t think that it is a software issue because as I’ve understood, the other buttons are working. So something gotta be blocking the signal from the button from reaching the motherboard of the device (most likely a damaged ribbon cable or maybe a broken button). Read moreYou could always try to wipe the device remotely with “Find my iPhone“ and another Apple device that is logged in with the same Apple ID as your phone. If that doesn’t work, hook it up to iTunes on a computer. Enter recovery mode by holding in the power button and the volume down button. Keep them that way until your phone has entered recovery mode. You can now release the buttons and iTunes should detect the phone. iTunes will give you 2 options: update or restore. Choose update, and iOS will be reinstalled without getting your data wiped. Your phone will hopefully work after this. But I recommend you to read Apple’s Help Support about problems like this to get the best answer. Have a good day.
Read moreThe bracket is there to secure the cables and make them stay in place. If the flex cables aren’t properly secured into place and the bracket is missing, you may want to get a new one. However the phone shouldn’t restart, the display should just be extremely glitchy… If this only was a display replacement something like this shouldn’t happen. However, the person that did this poor repair might have damaged the logic board at some point. If that would be the case, the phone is more likely to behave weirdly. You can always try to restore the device back to factory settings and see if that makes a difference, but doing so will wipe your data, so be careful and back up everything you want to keep. If you’re unlucky the logic board might have been damaged and replacing that would be pretty difficult and expensive…
