It's purely cosmetic. Take a scalpel, clean up both sides and call it a day. Not worth trying to fix that.

And if I could find a source for screens, I would attempt to fix my left one. Ridiculous the only option is to pay $650, especially when you can buy the whole phone from buydig for $480 or 460. Forget which. Otherwise my phone is e-waste. Sigh.
