I am not an expert on controller ports but if it is not letting you do certain tasks with your controller, it could be dirty. Try cleaning it with Alcohol and Q-tips/ paper towels. I would also recommend using a nylon brush (a toothbrush can work in a pinch if it is clean). Finally, when you finish scrubbing it down, use compressed air to blow any remaining debris out. If cleaning it this way doesn’t work, then a deeper cleaning involving more tools such as picks from the cleaning section on ifixit may help. You can use those to force whatever is in there, out. But do this as a second last resort. Worst case scenario, you’ll have to order a replacement part and sell the broken one online for parts. I am currently having the same issue as you. While I have not found my personal solution yet, I can offer a potential solution. While everyone who has been providing answers with your AC adapter, voltages, and dirty gameports (which any of those could be correct), another issue could be your capacitors. If the capacitors in the motherboard are going bad, it could be time to replace them (as when they go bad, you can get a bad image and bad or static for sound). I intend to do this with my genesis even if it is not my solution, as a way to increase its lifespan. I would recommend you look into this solution as well. YouTube is where I learned about this. If you find you want to do this method, just make sure you get the correct version of capacitors for your specific genesis. I have heard good things about the capacitors from Console5. Hello Nooruddin! I believe this issue is either a battery or motherboard issue. I would begin by opening the phone and making sure everything is plugged in. Some phones won't boot if certain cables are not plugged in. For example, if you plug in a phone but the battery cable is not in, you may only get the logo such as your case. Then, after making sure that is not the case, I would begin by ordering and replacing the battery. Sometimes when the battery is low it can do something like you are describing (should the battery be completely dead). Should that not work, it may be a motherboard issue, in which case you may need to order the correct motherboard for your phone, or just sell it and replace it. Hope I helped! -Jake's Restorations

Hello John! First, I would check to be absolutely sure that everything is plugged back in to the motherboard. If a cable is loose, then that could be the issue.

Hmm. Well in your case there could be a few issues. Using my knowledge however, I would guess you either need a new screen or film on the screen. If you watch a Youtuber called "Odd Tinkering" I believe they solved this issue or a similar issue with their own Gameboy restoration and repair. I believe they also link the parts they used such as the film I mentioned earlier! Hope I helped!

Hello Dushyant! The way I go about installing Windows is through USB. Putting Windows 10 on a Thumb Drive and installing after entering BIOS has worked for me several times! Plus it wipes your Hard Drive and frees up a ton of space as an added bonus. Just search "Install Windows 10 USB" on Youtube, and you can find a wide array of tutorials. I recommend a Thumb Drive of 16GB or higher for this operation. If you need a computer to do this operation, I recommend using a friends computer, or even a Library computer. Best of Luck! Hello Dee! So when replacing an iPhone screen, you have to make sure to transfer the old speaker onto the new screen! Have you done this? If not that would explain why you cannot hear anyone, and why the speaker button is grey. If you completed this step, it could mean a cable is loose. Carefully making sure all of the ribbon cables are securely seated can potentially solve your issue. All of those cables matter! Hope I helped!

More detail on the issue could help a lot more with this but I will try my best. There's always a chance your speaker could be dirty or going bad. In the case of it being dirty, clean the speaker with isopropyl alcohol and a Q-Tip. In the case of it going bad, getting a replacement speaker and replacing the old one, or paying someone to replace the old one, is your best bet. However, If you provide more details on your phones issue (such as when this started happening), then the answer could be a lot less generalized. For all we know it could be a dozen of potential issues.

The battery must be placed positive side facing up if I am correct.
