I had the same issue as others, where all the hair was already removed. It turns out, the robot picked up a small furniture pad and it stuck to the plastic housing under the brushes in a way that looked factory installed. I was doing a complete disassembly of the robot, when the sticky pad fell onto the table, and it became obvious it wasn't supposed to be in there.
