Hello! My Name is Don Pangottil. I'm a freshman at Austin Community College majoring in Computer Science. I chose this major because from a young age I have always been drawn to computers, whether that was with video games, laptops, or even learning computer components. I one day hope to be a software developer at an influential company. Some of my skills include customer service, excel/word/office proficiency, and working hard. Some of my past projects include collaborating with a team to create a Python program that classifies artwork by artist and generates unique art in the respective artist’s style. My previous repair experience consists of simple hardware repairs such as furniture, appliances etc. Some of my accolades include, 4.0 GPA award, DECA state finalist, and Choir solo and ensemble regional award. I am a proud member of SAYA, a church youth group with an objective to reach out to the youth and try to make the world a better place. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, playing basketball, and hanging out with my friends. As a computer science major I feel that this project will benefit me in my future endeavors due to the fact that repairing a laptop is crucial to understanding how a computer works, thus furthering my knowledge of computers. Fun fact about me, I have a dog named maya.
