Read moreI suggest going to radio shack and purchasing an anti-static wrist strap. You simply put it on your wrist, and plug the attached lead into the ground plug of a wall socket. I further may suggest an anti static mat to place the phone on, but that might be overkill.

But in essence, they're sophisticated computers, and all computers (especially ones with intake vents near dusty areas like carpet or shelves) need their heat sinks cleaned. F air cannot get to the vanes of the sink, it won't get cool. As for the loud fan, it's possible the fan is on it's last legs. Cooling fans typically get louder the older and closer to death they get as the bearings wear out and the motors struggle. Read moreIt sounds like your "a" key has been remapped to display the symbol it does instead of the "a" you want somehow (via prank, glitch, cosmic event, flying monkeys....). What is the delete key doing? Maybe it's related, or can be similarly fixed. I found a Mac key mapper here: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/12004/d... but since I do not have a Mac, I cannot test it to see if it'll let you remap your "a" key. Reviews are mixed, proceed at your own risk. Maybe try and find an alternative program if you wish.
