Read moreSimply lay the key in the correct direction on the keyboard (Don't put it upside down; Upside down letters on a keyboard aren't fun) Once the key is just laying in its socket, simply press the key down, as if you were typing. Don't push too hard though. If you hear a click, the key is back in its place. Hope this helps.

Read moreHold both the power and home button until the Apple Logo appears. When the Logo appears, release the power button but keep holding the Home Button until "Connect to iTunes" appears. Connect the phone to iTunes and either Enter Recovery Mode, Backup the Device, or do a Factory reset.

Read moreThere is a connector which connects the home button to a power source at the bottom of the phone. When the screws are taken out, the home button is disconnected from that power source (probably due to the screen raising a little) and the home button no longer works. You can try putting the screws back in, and see if it works. If the home button still doesn't work then there's a problem.
