There are a handful of youtube videos out there about this. Search wet passenger side carpet. Rain can be getting in through a vent in engine bay, or a hose under the dash (passenger side) may be blocked or off.
I would clean out the whole fuel system, including the float bowl and use fresh non ethanol gas. The fuel pump and filter are pretty cheap and easy to swap. My Craftsman was actually missing a gasket in the intake manifold area; this was fuel air mix and I had to choke to get a steady idle.
you might get away with having the charge port replaced but looking at where the bend is lots could have happened, a chip could have lifted. A board-level repair shop might be able to deal with it. (ipadrehab)

do you have a photo of the back of the lens and the camera lens mount? It kind of sounds like the mount is broken out of the lens and stuck in the camera, but you would probably see damage like broken ribbon cables, etc.
it is likely the cord. I would also check to see if the charge port on your phone is dirty. They can get full of lint etc. Use a toothpick to gently remove dirt, and or compressed air.
these sanders have a non-symetrical drum. One side cuts deep and the other feathers. So you can only move right to left or left to right (sorry I can’t remember which way!) Make sure your paper is tight.
