Disconnected the front camera assembly and it worked for me. Cool. Thanks man. I was tripping that I had a baseband problem I don’t feel like f-ing with.

Read moreMine were L2200 & L2210 : ) Main cause is the price of rice in China these days. You guys can send me stuff, I'll fix it. Update (04/13/2016): Yes. You fix it by replacing the backlight filter. Send it to me. I'll do it. Sounds like you are lacking the 4k in equipment & knowledge. It's not something you'll get right without a few years of training 1st.

Read moreIt was an iPhone 5 I believe. I just noticed the marks on the schematic. I don't know anything about polarized capacitors yet, still in my learning stage. So that may have been part of the problem LOL. But now I thank you, because I will learn go learn about it. It was awhile ago and that phone has been since returned. But have many other issues (Mac/iPad) that I am working on and this (learning) applies to all of that as well. Ohhh, is that why they looked like diodes? They are polarized capacitors? They are!!! Didn't know they came like that LOL : ) That mystery is solved. #1 dunce : ) but now I know : ) Thanx! But yes, I figured they were mislabeled diodes and a little familiar with the orientation of diodes and the markings on schematics to match. So yes I matched them up with the line closest to the red bracket icon. Replaced all 4 & figured if all replaced the problem would be solved, LOL. But Grasshopper still has lot to learn : )

Read moreWhere is the U2 chip? And I am getting the same running scrip down the screen with only a fresh screen plugged in, no camera. I did change a bunch of caps that a customer knocked off in self-repair attempt. Got them all on and getting this error. Don't think the chips had polarity. Double checked. No polarity on the ones I changed. Checked continuity and everything checked out.

Have you tried swapping parts from one phone to the other?
So more home button headaches!
Ya. Looking for speaker part myself... Where we find it at?
It seems that the microphones are intolerant to moisture. I changed the microphone and still no working mic. Then I noticed that there are two more to the left and right of the microphone that I changed. I got the one in the middle from Digikey, but I can not identify the other two. Does anyone have a schematic or know where to find these other two microphones?
Is that screen going to be refurbishable with that pressure touch technology?
