If you try to force the connector on you could have inadvertently damaged the socket on the main board by bending it out of shape, in which case you will struggle to get the connector to locate.

Hi, I have this printer and I too had this problem, there seemed to be no paper stuck in there. I removed the two screws at the top rear and two screws at the top front behind the cartridge flap, this enables the whole of the top of the printer to be hinged up and back. On the right hand side there is a device which I think cleans the print head, it's covered in ink so you're going to get dirty hands. There was paper jammed in the gear mechanism on mine which couldn't be seen before. I removed all the paper but I still got the jammed message. I have found that the majority of replacement batteries that are availabe are garbage, and it's a complete lottery on purchasing reliable ones.

You need to be very careful with any lithium type batteries. They can catch fire and are self oxidising so you will have trouble trying to extinguishing them. You should have disconnected the battery first from the iphone circuit board before trying to remove it. It sounds like your battery is definately toast now so you've got nothing to lose by trying a new one. Just be careful.

Yes, have a go at repairing it yourself. They're really easy. Use a heat gun to soften the adhesive and be careful around the top right hand corner as the power button ribbon cable is easily damaged.

I doubt very much you'll have any luck with repairing that unfortunately.

If you had to remove the screen to change the speaker then you've more than likely broken the screen, they're VERY fragile. If you look at the screen at a shallow angle, you may see a faint crack in the lcd under the glass.
