Completed repair, now screen won't turn on, and (only) when plugged in the phone buzzes every few seconds. Pulled it back apart, checked connections, no dice, tried the power button + home button combo for 10 seconds but no change. not sure what to do now. Any suggestions?

Replaced Iphone 5 battery and it was super easy!!! My phone has a slight bend in it and was told by (cr)applecare "genius" that replacement was impossible and due to the bend the insurance wouldn't cover new phone (so what does it cover?). I got a new phone (at&t insurance) and a IFIXIT kit, just thought I'd try to replace battery for giggles and it worked! I'll be returning the new phone Monday.

I didn't remove the front cover or the battery clip completely and all went well.
