Hi There is actually a specific tool that you can use to reform the case back into its shape. Lemme find the tool and I will update this answer with a link to the tool. Otherwise, you can attempt to reform the casing with pliers carefully. EDIT: Alright I found the tool its called the iCorner. It's an expensive tool but it will get the job done for sure so if you have the money to burn, then this is the tool for you http://www.gtool.com/16/icorner%205%2c%2... Otherwise, take some needle nose pliers and reform the case carefully. It's aluminum so be careful, it can break with too much force.
Read moreHi It just sounds like there's leftover paint in the wire mesh for the earpiece microphone. All you have to do is take off the screen, remove the earpiece assembly, peel off the rubber gasket for the earpiece microphone carefully, clean it, and then peel off the wire mesh and clean it out. Then just super glue the wire mesh and gasket back on. I've done it before so it is definitely possible. Best of luck
Read moreHi It is possible to turn on the 5S with just the power cable but it will just boot infinitely with the apple logo. At least that will give you confirmation that it works. Best of luck
Read moreAccording to the Apple support page, error 9 correlates to your antivirus software or your firewall hindering connection with Apple's update servers while error 14 correlates to an interrupted USB connection. So check your antivirus make sure that its not blocking iTunes and check your USB cord make sure its not broken in any way or use another cord. For me, I prefer to always download the latest firmware from http://felixbruns.de and then boot the iPhone into DFU mode and then do a shift+restore from iTunes. I never run into any errors through that way. For your reference to any iTunes errors http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694 Best of luck
Read moreHi Apple stays consistent with the batteries in all their devices. Meaning the 5S has a 1560mAh battery while the 5C has a 1510mAh battery and so on. In the 5S battery guide you were referring to, more than likely the author of the guide either mistakenly slipped in a picture of the 5C battery or just purposely did that to save time. Either way, its the same concept for replacing the battery since the 5S and 5C are almost identical internally. But hey at least you're paying attention to little details like that :) Best of luck
Read moreHi It is possible and yes it is alot of work. If you have the time, patience, and expertise to do it, then go for it. If not, have someone else do it for you. I have done it before for an iPhone 4 and I would say the hardest part is precisely positioning the power and volume buttons in place and making sure they are functional. Best of luck
Read moreHi The screen should fit uniformly onto the iPhone. If it doesn't then you should consult your vendor and either get a replacement or return it for a refund. Find a better quality vendor to buy from next time. Best of luck
Read moreHi Check if the bluetooth volume on your iPhone is all the way down. If it's all the way up and there's still no sound, then go to settings>bluetooth and tap the i button next to your bluetooth headset and tap forget this device. Then pair your headset again and see if that solves the issue. If not, then you could either pair your iPhone with bluetooth speakers and see if that outputs sound or check if your bluetooth headset is functioning. Your problem does not sound hardware related since you indicated that everything else is functioning. So play around with your settings and check your headset. Best of luck
Read moreHi The problem could be as simple as either rebooting the iPhone or opening the iPhone and reconnecting both the LCD and digitizer connectors since in some situations it can become loose after dropping the phone. You will need a pentalobe screwdriver, #00 philips screwdriver, plastic spudger, and a suction cup (or iSlack tool) to open the iPhone and diagnose the problem. There are guides on here for the 5S that will greatly assist you with opening the iPhone. Open up the iPhone, being careful with the touch id sensor flex cable, disconnect the battery, and then remove the metal shield that covers the screen connectors and take a look at the connectors. Remove and reconnect them and see if that solved the problem. Lemme know if you need help or more info. Best of luck.
