Battery Will Not Charge
Netbook only works when is plugged in, the battery only charges until a specific percentage that is lower than 100%, or will not power on.
Faulty Power Adapter
Make sure the power adapter is properly plugged in, and the charge light is on. If this light does not turn on, the adapter is faulty. Consider purchasing a replacement.
Faulty Battery
If the power adapter is properly plugged in and the charge light is on, but the battery does not charge fully or the netbook only works when the adapter is plugged in, then the battery is faulty. Consider replacing the battery.
Netbook Will Not Display
The screen does not respond.
Faulty Battery
If the power adapter is properly plugged in and the charge light is off, and the screen is black, then the battery is faulty. Consider replacing the battery.
Faulty Screen
If the lights on the netbook are on but the screen is black, then the display is faulty. Consider replacing the LCD display.
Keyboard/Specific key(s) Not Responding
Keyboard does not respond or has specific keys broken or missing.
Faulty Keyboard
If no key responds, then the whole keyboard is faulty. Consider replacing the keyboard. === Stuck Key ===
If one key is stuck (does not depress, or it barely depress) then there might be something preventing the key from properly working. Remove the key and check that there is nothing below it. Clean the area underneath and snap the key back.
Missing Key
If keys are missing, replace them.
Cursor Does Not Respond
The cursor does not move or click despite using the trackpad and its buttons properly.
Faulty Trackpad
If the keyboard works, but not the trackpad, then the trackpad is faulty. Consider replacing the trackpad.
Frozen System/Not Enough RAM
If the trackpad and the keyboard does not work, then the system may be frozen. Wait for it to unfreeze and close all the programs currently running. If it crashes, reboot accordingly.
Display Looks Wrong

Faulty LCD Display
If there are dead pixels, colorful or black lines, or cracks on the screen, then the LCD display is faulty. Consider replacing the LCD display.
Brightness Changed
Sometimes having low battery makes the brightness go down in order to save battery, if such is the case, plug in the power adapter and charge your netbook. If this is not the case, double check the brightness settings for your corresponding Operating System.
Netbook Will Not Connect to the Internet
Network is not able to connect to any networks.
Faulty Wi-Fi Card
If after checking that the internet is running properly, and that there is no other way to connect to Wi-Fi, then the Wi-Fi card is faulty. Consider replacing the Wi-fi card.
Netbook Overheats

Cleaning the Fan
If the fans whir too loudly, there might be dust stuck to the fan, or the vents. Clean the vents by using a compressed air duster to blow the dust off.
