Laptop will not turn on:
Device shows no indication of powering on.
Faulty Battery
If you need to have the laptop plugged in to use it, even after trying to charge it, then you have a faulty battery.
- Remove and replace the battery by pushing it out.

CD’s are not working properly or at all:
CD’s are not reading or having a hard time going in and out.
Faulty CD Drive
If when you are trying to run a CD, it will not read at all even with a new and clean disk, the CD drive is broken and will need to be replaced.
If the CD drive is not smoothly going in and out, first check to see if these is anything jammed. If there is not, it will need to be replaced.

Keyboard not Functioning Properly:
Certain buttons on the keyboard are not working.
Faulty Keyboard:
When pressing the key, they will not respond or they will not respond or they physically can not be pushed down because something is stuck underneath.
- If the keys are able to pop out individually, pop out the broken key and replace it. To do so, pry the key up from the bottom until it pops off. Then push the replacement key down onto the same spot. If that can’t be done, click here to see how to repair
Distorted Audio:
Audio does not sound clear or it is not coming through at all.
Lack of Audio:
There is no form of audio that is produced by the computer or when the audio does come through, it does not come through clearly. You will need to replace the speakers.

Non Responsive or Adjusted Touch Pad:
The touch pad is not working properly.
Touch Pad is turned off
Make sure that the touch pad is not turned off in your settings. To do this, go into your computers setting and search “touch pad” Once you do this, there will be an option to turn the touch pad on or off.
Sensitivity is changed
If when you are trying to use the touch pad, it moves faster or slower than what you are used to, make sure that the sensitivity is not changed. To check the sensitivity, go into the settings and search touch pad. Once you do this, you will see something that says touch pad sensitivity. Move it around until you are comfortable with it.
Buttons not working
If the buttons are not working when you click them, they need to be replaced.
