If the slide is set to the rightmost position, the device is set to the on position. If the device switch is set to the leftmost position, the device is set to the off position. === Faulty Power Adapter === To check the power adapter, ensure the adapter is plugged into either a cigarette lighter charging port in your vehicle, or into a standard house socket. Look to see if the LED light is on. If the light is on, the adapter is properly working, if the light is not on, the adapter is faulty. Consider replacing the charger. == Device Will Not Hold A Charge == ''Your device is not holding/receiving a charge when it is plugged in.'' === Faulty Battery === Ensure the power adapter is properly working, then proceed to connect it to the device. If the device is able to turn on but dies once it is unplugged, there is most likely a faulty battery. Battery replacement is recommended. Replace the battery using this guide. === Faulty Charging Port === Ensure the power adapter is properly working, then proceed to connect it to the device. If the device is still unable to turn on, the charging port may be faulty. Replace the charging port using this guide. == No Sound == ''You have trouble hearing the device.'' === Volume Set too Low === Ensure the device is on by the blue light indicator at the top middle of the device. Press the volume up button at the bottom right hand corner of the device repeatedly. If the device does not connect, attempt to pair your phone with another bluetooth device to ensure it is working properly. === Device Bluetooth Faulty === If the bluetooth on your cell phone is in good working order, and the Freeway device is verified to be on by the blue indication light, then the device’s bluetooth antenna may be faulty.
