You can attempt to reseat the port. === Damaged or Bad Battery === If the battery is only holding charge for a short time, it is sometimes possible that draining the battery fully, and then recharging for the full eight hours while the phone is turned off. If this does nothing to repair the battery, it may be necessary to get a new battery for your phone. In this case, you would simply take the back panel off, take the old battery out and replace it with the new battery (carefully lining up the positive and negative sides), then reattach the back panel.
