HP 14-dq5043cl Does Not Power On

Sometimes the charging port can be blocked by something.

• Verify cord is securely in the charging port and not being interfered by any blockages

If charging doesn’t provide power, you may have a faulty battery

• Verify the location of the battery and ensure it is secured properly and not out of place
• If charger still does not provide power replace the battery with a new battery

If a major component such as the ram is damaged that can lead to trouble booting up

• Locate the area in which the ram is stored in the laptop
• Ensure the ram is secured and plugged in properly
• Clean off any dust to prevent any overheating issue

The storage device is responsible for holding all the important information on the device, including the operating system. If damaged the computer may not boot.

• Locate the storage device for your device
• Take out the Storage device and clean it off
• Put it back in place and try to turn your device on
• If it still doesn’t work, you will need to replace your storage device
