+=== Broken or Cracked Screen ===

+If your screen has a crack or a large scratch on it, it will need to be replaced with a new screen.
+
+=== Vertical or Horizontal Lines, and Dead Pixels ===
+
+If your screen has vertical or horizontal lines across it that make it difficult to see, it is best to replace the screen. If that does not work, the LCD cable will need to be replaced. If all else fails, the motherboard will need to be replaced so the screen resolution can be restored.
+
+=== Flickering Screen ===

+If your computer has a flickering screen, update your computer to the latest software update.
+
+If this still has not worked, attempt to change the Screen Refresh Rate.
+
+1. If you have Windows 8 or 10, right click on the start button in the left corner of your screen. Click on Control Panel.
+
+2. Click Display in the Control Panel, then click on Change display settings on the left of the current window.
+
+3. Click on Advanced Settings at the bottom right of the window open in blue.
+
+4. Click on the Monitor tab and find the setting labeled Screen Refresh Rate.
+
+5. In the drop down menu of the Screen Refresh Rate setting, pick a higher Hertz refresh rate than the current one shown.
+
+6. If a higher setting of Hertz does not fix the problem, continue trying higher rates.
+
+Another option, is to replace the screen.

+=== Dim Screen ===

+If you have a dim screen, to make the screen lighter or darker, press the button f12 to make the screen brighter. To make the screen darker, press f11. Both these buttons have a sun looking symbol.
+
+Another option is to disable the adaptive brightness to fix dim screen in windows 10.
+
+1. Right click on Start, click on settings.
+
+2. In settings, click on system.
+
+3. In system, on the left, click on display.
+
+4. Once in display, there is a slider labeled Brightness and color, and change brightness. Slide the cursor to change the screen brightness to your liking.

+You can also replace the screen, as it may be a hardware issue.
