The Tablet does not Charge
You connect the charging cable multiple times, and the charge on the tablet does not increase or the tablet does not say it is charging.
Dirty Charging Port
Your charging port may have dirt or debris. If so, locate the charging port and use a toothpick, cotton swab, or compressed air to clean it out.
Faulty Charging Cable
Your charging cable may be defective. Check for damages and tears in the cable, and if you find that there are, replace it. You may also have to charge the tablet from a different outlet in case the one you are using is defective.
The Tablet Turns On, Then Back Off
The tablet will turn on, then after a few seconds, the tablet will turn off again on its own.
Device is in Sleep Mode
If your tablet is in sleep mode, it is possible that this may occur. Sleep mode is turned on to conserve battery power. Charge it, and if you don’t want this to occur again, follow the steps below:
Go to Settings > Display > Sleep > Choose Time
You will then be able to choose the times at which sleep mode will be enabled.
Faulty Battery
Your battery might have completely lost its charge, or the battery is faulty. You will need to replace your battery if this issue persists.
The Tablet is not Connected to the Internet
When you open an app or do something that requires internet connection, your tablet will say you are not connected to the internet.
Not Connected to Wi-Fi
Go to "Settings", click "Wi-Fi", be sure the switch is in the "ON" position, find your network on the right and select, enter your password and click "Connect". Once the tablet says that you are connected, you can go back to the home screen and try the browser to confirm you have connected successfully.
Needs to be Restarted
One common fix for some issues involve restarting your tablet. To do this, hold your power button for a few seconds until the screen turns black. You will then need to turn it back on, which you will need to again hold the power button down until it turns on again. Additionally, for this issue, you may need to restart your router if this issue has not been fixed yet.
Wi-Fi Network is Out of Range
Make sure you are within range of your wi-fi network. The typical range for a network is around 150 feet indoors.
The Tablet is in a Different Language
The tablet will be displaying something different than your chosen/wanted language.
Tablet is Not Displaying the Preferred Language
To change the language that is currently displaying, follow these steps:
Settings > Languages & input > Language > Select the one you want
If the tablet is in a language you cannot understand, please follow these steps to navigate the settings page correctly:
Go into settings. The icon looks like three bars with small ovals intersecting them. From here, you should see a list of icons on the left side of the screen, followed by text (which may be incomprehensible). Look for the Languages & input icon which looks like an A in a white box. From the following menu, choose the very top option. After that, go down the list until you see the language you prefer. Once you select your language option, the system language should change and you should be able to understand the rest of the system menus.
The Tablet Speakers do not Work
Your speakers don't emit sound when using the tablet.
Tablet May be Muted
Your tablet may be muted. Go to settings > sound and make sure your volume is all the way up.
Speakers May be Dirty
Your speakers may have debris in them. To make sure that there is no debris, clean with a toothpick, cotton swab, or compressed air thoroughly.
Headphone Port Does Not Work
Your headphone port does not output sound using headphones. Check the port for debris and clean out using a toothpick, cotton swab, or compressed air. If that does not work, check your headphones for defectiveness, and tears.
Faulty Speakers
If there once was sound and there is no longer sound, play audio that you would normally hear with the sound turned all the way up. If there is still no sound, you will need to replace your speakers.
As a very last resort and if all else fails, you may choose to factory reset your device.
