Phone Will Not Power On

The phone does not show any response to power and will not power on.

Faulty Power Adapter

Ensure the power adapter is plugged in and the charge light is on. If the light is not on, and the adapter is plugged in, the adapter is faulty. Consider purchasing a replacement adapter.

Faulty Battery

Make sure the adapter is plugged into the phone and the charging light is illuminated. If the phone only powers up when the adapter is plugged in, regardless of charging time, then the battery is faulty. Replace the battery using this guide.

Keyboard isn’t responding

The keys on your keyboard won't respond and there is no response from plugging in the adapter.

Faulty Keypad

If the entire keypad/keyboard fails to respond, try replacing it with this guide.

Keys Are Stuck In Place

When the keys can't be pressed, there may be something that is blocking the key from being pressed down. To fix this, remove the key and make sure nothing is stuck below it. You may need to wipe off the area underneath. Once it is sufficiently clean, follow this guide to reinstall the keyboard into the phone.

Keyboard does not light up

If your keyboard does not light up but still responds to input then follow this guide to replace the keyboard.

Unexpected Restarts

Your phone will restart without prompting, and will not run the expected actions. It will also turn off as if the battery is dead.

Faulty Motherboard

If your phone randomly shuts down or restarts it is possible that the motherboard is faulty and needs to be replaced. An easy way to determine if your motherboard needs replacement is if your battery holds a charge, and looks to be in good shape. You can find a complete guide here on how to replace

Bad Battery

If the motherboard in your phone was recently replaced, it may be the battery that is causing the shutdowns and restarts. If the battery looks damaged it is a good idea to go ahead and replace it. If your battery does not hold a charge or does not charge at all, it is most likely the reason for the restarts and shutdowns.


Sending Error codes

The phone is displaying error codes on the following components, find out which part needs replacing to clear the code below.

Faulty camera

Your phone may be sending pop up error codes regarding the camera. It is possible that the camera lens or electronics may be malfunctioning. It will need to be replaced if this error code persists.

Bad screen

Your phone may not receive touch inputs or does not change when a screen change is prompted. Phone calls and texts will ring, but not show up on the screen. When the screen does display, it shows an error code regarding the screen malfunctioning.

Bad battery

A constant error code regarding the battery is present. The battery is low on power regardless of charge time and a low battery warning is present often.
