Screen Won't Turn On
If your screen won't turn on, remains blank, or won't wake from sleep, try one of the following:
Device does not have power
Try plugging in your tablet. If it has no power, it will not turn on. Give it a nice charge.
Bad Display
Your tablet could have a bad display. This could be the result of dead pixels or faulty wiring.
Device Freezes
Does the screen stay frozen on whatever you were just doing? Does it not refresh? This problem stems from a variety of issues, however many of these are easily fixable through the software.
Reboot the Tablet
Perform a hard reboot by holding down the power button for 10 seconds.
Save RAM
Close any unnecessary or unused programs. They could be unnecessarily using up memory. Open the task manager by pressing Windows+X and then selecting Task Manager. Under the Apps section close anything you are not using. This will preserve RAM for applications you are using.
Unresponsive Touch Screen
Has your digitizer stopped working? Does the tablet not respond to your fingers?
Reboot the Tablet
Perform a hard reboot by holding down the power button for 10 seconds.
Uncheck the power management box
In the device manager section there is an option to turn on off a setting called "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." Unchecking this box ensures that the software that controls your touch screen is always active.
Note: This may make your battery drain faster.
Battery Drains Really Fast
Is your brightness level too high? If not try the power saving solution.
Lower the Brightness Level
Swipe from the right edge to the left side of the screen to open up the Settings. Click on the brightness icon (sun) and lower it accordingly. Lowering the brightness uses less power in the tablet.
Change Power Management
Changing the power management settings will allow the tablet to save battery life by disabling the wifi adapter when not in use. This can be changed in Device Manger under the Wireless Adapter settings. Enabling the "wake-up mode" option ensures that the hardware will be put into a sleep mode when not in use.
If the problem is not resolved through changing power settings, the battery may need to be replaced.
Battery Replacement
If you have exhausted all other options to try and save battery life, it is probably time to replace your battery. To replace your battery, follow the guide.
Bluetooth does not Connect
Does the Bluetooth give an error or just not connect?
Re-enable the Bluetooth Driver
The Bluetooth driver can sometimes be disabled when turning on your tablet. To activate the driver, access the Bluetooth icon in the device manager section and disable and then re-enable the driver to reset it.
Re-install the Bluetooth Driver
If re-enabled the driver does not solve the problem, you can remove and re-install the driver completely. Uninstall the driver from the Bluetooth section of Device Manager. After the uninstaller finishes, reboot your tablet to automatically install the driver again.
