Vacuum is Noisy
The vacuum produces a lot more sound than usual while working
Filters are blocked with debris
Over time the vacuum filters can be blocked with debris, causing it to produce a lot of noise while vacuuming. So, make sure to clean the filters.
All the parts are not connected properly
While assembling the vacuum make sure that all the parts are in their proper place. Most of its parts will snap into place. So, no screws are required for assembly.
Roller Brush axle is not connected to the motor properly
The motor is connected to a rubber belt which turns the roller brush axle. The belt may not be properly aligned with the roller brush axle. So, when the motor is turned on it produces a lot more noise.
Vacuum Does Not Pick Up Debris
The vacuum collects little-to-no debris when in use.
Clogged filters
The filters may have been clogged with all the dust and debris, reducing airflow to the dust collection canister.
Weak Suction
The vacuum may have a weak suction from larger debris inside the device causing a blockage.
Roller Brush Not Spinning
The brush can be removed by pulling on the orange tab of the bottom of the vacuum cleaner. Inspect the part for any tangled strings or hair on the brush. Remove any tangled debris or hair from the brush and return it to where it originally was.
Also check the rubber motor belt, as it can slip off of the gear and prevent the brush from spinning.
Vacuum not recharging
The vacuum is not charging despite being connected to the charging rack.
Dead Battery
The battery in the vacuum may have died, making it unable to store charge. If this is the case, then you should replace the battery.
Dust and debris between the pins
If the battery isn't the issue, it may be the charging rack. Dust and debris between the charging pins in the rack may cause the vacuum to not dock properly with the rack leading to the vacuum not charging. Make sure that there are no obstructions between the vacuum and the charging rack and the vacuum is docked properly.
Damaged Rack
If the vacuum docks properly then the issue may be the charging rack. Try charging the vacuum with another rack to see if it charges.
Vacuum Battery LED not showing charge level
The vacuum Battery LED does not light up or properly display charge level.
Dead LED
The LED light for the battery inside of the vacuum may be dead, preventing the display of the charge level. Make sure to check your battery and charging rack. If it is neither of these you will need to replace the LED.
Faulty Wiring
The wiring for your battery LED may have become damaged over time. You will need to open your vacuum up to check the state of the LED and possibly replace it.
Vacuum does not swivel
The vacuum does not properly turn or swivel.
Jammed Mechanism
The brush section of the vacuum may be jammed or stuck in a certain orientation, causing it to stop moving. Check if any obstructions may be causing this issue, such as items that have gotten stuck inside. Remove these, and then try gently snapping the neck back into place.
Brush section not attached properly
The brush section of the vacuum may be not properly attached to the main body. Check to make sure that your brush is not damaged beforehand. Detach the brush from the body and reattach it by pushing it in until you hear a click. Check if it is properly attached by trying to turn. If it turns, then it is attached properly.

Orfeld 679 works fine on low speed. When I switch to high speed it begins to rev up and then immediately stops completely.
Any idea what would cause this?
