Phone Will Not Turn On

Phone is not turning on. This is most likely due to a dead battery

Press and Hold Power Button

Check to see if the phone is actually on. Hold the power button for 5 to 10 seconds. If the phone still does not turn on proceed to the next step.

Charge Phone

The phone's battery may be dead. Plug the phone into a charger and charge the phone for about 10 minutes. Then, try to hold the power button again.

Replace Battery

If this does not work the battery would need to be replaced, see this replacement guide for further instructions.

Other

If the phone does not turn on still there may be an internal problem, mainly the motherboard. You can change the motherboard by following this replacement guide.

Camera is not working

Camera is not working properly. Camera is not taking pictures.

Replace Camera

The camera is most likely broken either internally or externally. The best option is to change the camera shown in this replacement guide.

Keypad Buttons Unresponsive

The keypad buttons aren't responding when pressed. This is probably due to high use of the phone which would wear out the buttons and the internal hardware of the phone.

Button is Broken

The buttons will need to be replaced, be it one button or several buttons that are not working. Follow this replacement guide to repair a single button, multiple buttons, or the keypad itself.

No Connection

There is also a possibility that the wires got loose and will need to be reconnected or replaced. Follow this replacement guide to check the connections of the keypad. If the wires are connected properly and the button still does not work, the wire may have internal damage and will need to be replaced.

No Sound

There is no sound coming out of the phone, music, ringtones, notification sounds, etc. It is very likely that there is internal damage to the speakers.

Faulty Speakers

Speakers are most likely broken and would need to be replaced. You can follow this replacement guide.

Vibration Not Working

The component of the phone that makes the vibration may be broken or connection may be lose. In the same replacement guide it will show the vibration component and its connections and how to replace it if necessary.

Speakers aren't Connected

The volume buttons may not be connected properly to the sound and will need to be reconnected. The connections are shown in the same replacement guide above. Also, the speakers may not be connected. Reconnect the wires using the guide above. If the sound still does not work, the wires may have some internal damage. To fix this, get new wires and solder them to the screen and speakers. Use the above guide for disassembly.

Exterior Damages

Scratches, screen cracks, not functioning, etc...

Front Screen

This is the screen which is visible when the phone is closed. We are still looking for a way to fix this part of the phone. The phone will most likely need to be replaced.

Inner Screen

This is the screen which is visible when the phone is opened. We are still looking for a way to fix this part of the phone. The phone will most likely need to be replaced.

Phone Broken in Half

The phone is snapped in half, broken at the hinge. Most likely the phone will need to be replaced.

Mine has a mind of its own, turning itself off even when on a full charge. Solutions anyone?
