Screen Will Not Turn On

The phone screen does not display any images and does not respond to touch.

Phone is Not Charged

Plug your phone in. The phone should have come with a charger, but any USB-C charger will work. The phone should be at full charge in roughly half-an-hour.

Charger is Faulty

The problem may not be the phone, but the charging cord. Charge another device with your current charger to verify it works. If your cord won’t charge any other devices, your cord needs to be replaced.

Battery is Faulty

Try charging your phone with a different charger. If no cords are able to charge your phone, there may be a problem with your battery. Replace the battery using this guide.

Screen is Damaged

If the screen was recently heavily damaged and refuses to turn on, it needs to be replaced.

Speaker Stops Playing Sound

The sound is not playing out of the speaker.

Sound is Not Turned On

Make sure that the sound is turned on within Settings. Go to the Settings app, and click on the Sound & Vibrations option. It should then say whether the sound is on or off. If the sound is off, switch it on.

Phone May Need a Restart

Sometimes the phone needs to be restarted. Hold down the Power Button to restart the phone. Wait about five minutes before turning the phone back on.

Phone May Require a Factory Reset

If the phone is still not working, then restore the phone to Factory Setting. This will cause the phone to lose all of its data. Perform a full backup before factory resetting the phone to save any data. Go into the Setting app on the phone and click on Backup & Reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Phone. Choose Erase Everything and then confirm to Factory Reset the phone.

Speaker is Damaged

If the speaker was recently damaged by water or other forces, it will need to be replaced.

The Phone Won’t Vibrate

The vibration will not vibrate when the device receives notifications.

Vibration May Need Testing

You can find the test in Settings > Support > Tests > Vibration.

If the test fails, restart your device in safe mode and retry the test without any loaded downloads because, in this mode, applications are momentarily disabled.

Phone Possibly Needs a Reboot

If it is still not working, then simultaneously press and hold down the Volume Up and Power Buttons for six seconds. The device will then vibrate once, then the phone will reboot.

Vibration Motor is Damaged

If the vibration motor was recently damaged by water or other forces, it will need to be replaced.

Battery Dies Quickly

The battery life has been shortened.

Brightness May Be Draining the Battery

To help control the life of the battery, manually control the brightness of the phone. This can be done by dragging down from the top of the screen. Adjust the brightness to dimmer until needed for more brightness.

Low Power Mode Improves Battery Life

If the battery continues to drain quickly, then run the phone on Low Power Mode. This will help conserve some of the battery life.

Phone Possibly Requires a Reboot

If the battery is still not holding life, then hold down the Power Button and Volume Up Button for six seconds. Leave the phone off for a few minutes before powering back on.

Battery Life is Depleted

Battery life has declined permanently and needs to be replaced.

The Auxiliary Port Stops Recognizing the Input

The phone’s auxiliary port does not recognize connected headphones.

Audio Jack Might Be Dirty

Blow into the jack or use a can of compressed air to clean it out. Another option is to attempt cleaning out the debris with a cotton swab that has had a few drops of alcohol applied to the end of it.

Headphone Jack is Faulty

Plug your headphones into another device and try to listen to music through it. If the headphones continue not to play any audio, the headphones may be faulty and need to be replaced.

Audio Settings May Need to be Changed

If the issue doesn't appear to be with your headphones, make sure the volume and audio settings on your phone aren't muted or extremely low by hitting the Volume Buttons.

Phone Possibly Needs a Restart

Hold down the Power Button until the phone turns off or shuts down on its own.

If it doesn't work, try pressing and holding Power and Volume Down at the same time to shut down the phone. You can push the Power button once more to turn it on after it has completely turned off.

Auxiliary Port if Faulty

The auxiliary port is damaged past repair might need to be replaced.

How about camera issue like error when starting camera.
