Description

Once you're in and out of the Apple Watch and it's time to seal everything back up, use this adhesive strip to ensure a tight seal between the case and the display.

This replacement adhesive strip fits the 38 mm case Apple Watch Original model and Series 1, and 2 models.

Due to continuing improvements, actual product may differ slightly from photo.

iFixit makes no claims to the continued splash-resistance of the Apple Watch after applying this adhesive strip. It's probably going to be just fine, but we can't confirm that the Apple Watch will maintain its IPX7 waterproof rating after being repaired.

Followed the instructions exactly, including clean-up of old adhesive, placement, and wrapping with rubber bands afterwards. Went together well. Lasted about 1 week before falling apart again.

Everything I ordered work perfectly. The guide for replacing the battery and touch sensor was detailed, I followed it to the letter, took my time and so far the watch is working great. I didn't need to use the extra adhesive strip because I replaced the touch sensor and that had adhesive on it as did the battery but I will keep them around just in case.
