Dell WDX0R Battery | New / Fix Kit

The battery replacement arrived as promised, with the optional toolkit. I owe "Thank you" to whomever wrote a review saying to order the toolkit! What an excellent little package with its generous assortment of bit types, and well-designed enclosure! Opening the computer case was much easier with the toolset than the past three times when I replaced the battery, when I replaced the network card, and when I added memory. The IFIXIT battery fit perfectly and the connectors were correct, so installation went smoothly. I followed the "battery calibration" procedure, and all seems good. When I go to battery power, the computer indicates I'll have about 3-3/4 hours, which seems consistent with the original battery. I cannot speak to the useful life of this battery, but I am hopeful that it will outlast the cheaper batteries available on the web. As an inveterate fixer with the motto "It's broken, I can't make it worse," I am pleased to see the push to make parts and diagrams readily available. Thank you, IFIXIT!
