The sensor assembly includes the flood illuminator, a part of the Face ID security feature. If it is damaged or replaced, Face ID will cease to function.

Amazing screen, works perfect. My only complaint is that I have a display error message in my settings that will not go away. It’s not a big deal and I understand it’s because it’s not an Apple screen but it would have been nice to know.
