iPad mini 2 Battery | New / Fix Kit

Considering how old these parts are, it works wonderfully. The battery doesn't seem to last as long as the original did, but that could just be my memory being rose tinted. Either way, it's so nice to have a battery that lasts longer than an hour just reading comics. The adhesive didn't work for most of the screen, so I'll be opening it up again to put another set on, but the battery is working well and the guide was absolutely perfect.

My iPad Mini 2 suffered from a swollen battery that bulged/lifted the front panels. Random rebooting, or was locked on the splash screen. Thought maybe the battery had damaged a board or caused internal damage. It would power up and function with it plugged into the corded charger so just the battery was suspect even with the screen lifted up and bulged. Ordered this replacement battery and printed the step instruction. Not a bad job once you've done it. The iPad 2 is functioning well again. Thanks iFixit
